Sunday May 19 'From Hibbing to the Village' - Bob Dylan
Facilitator, Dave Hurley, will explore the very early years of musical legend Bob Dylan, from his home in Hibbing Minnesota to The Village in New York. The evening will contemplate Bobs influences, his relationship with Susie Rotolo and his first two albums on Columbia Records, being the self-titled Bob Dylan which he was never really happy with, and the extraordinary second release The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, an album that featured Blowin’ In The Wind, Girl from the North Country, Masters of War and A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall to name but a few.
This evening is proposed as a teaser to Dylan tragics. There is certainly so much more in the vault and we look forward to discussing Bob words and his journey. Enjoy a glass of wine and some stunning tapas before participating in what promises to be a great introduction to our monthly event titled Their Only Words.
