Grady played in just nine games during the 2025-26 season. He re-aggravated a foot injury midway through the year and was put on the shelf for the rest of the season because of it. In those nine games, he was just 7-of-20 from the field and 6-of-19 from beyond the arc.
“I’ve had ongoing foot issues since, I mean, really my freshman year,” Grady said on the Go Blue Hoops podcast back in February. “I fractured my foot, and it never fully recovered. I ended up playing on it through the summer after the fracture, and so it’s never fully recovered and I’ve just had to kind of battle that since. It’s just been on and off. I’ve been in and out of practice, just kind of trying to figure it out. I’m gonna have to do what I have to do in the summer, whatever that may be, with the foot.”
The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder was viewed as a high upside shooter coming out of high school, being ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 95 overall player in the class. Before committing to Michigan, Grady also held offers from schools like Oregon, Oklahoma, USC, Iowa, Washington, Cal and others.
As we do with all players that enter the portal, we wish Grady nothing but the best with his future endeavors.
