No one suffered from the quarterback inconsistencies as much as Jefferson and Addison. For Jefferson, he didn't break 1,000 yards until Week 18. Addison, who was suspended for the season's first three games, had career lows in receptions (42), yards (610), and touchdowns (3).
Influenced by the blockbuster trade that sent Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos, Bleacher Report's Moe Moton ranked the best receiving duos in the league. Jefferson and Addison were dinged for the 2025 season, but Moton pointed out that it was largely not their fault.
Don't let Minnesota's quarterback situation cloud your assessment of Jefferson. He's still a top-five receiver.
Yet the Vikings' duo didn't crack the top five in these rankings because Jordan Addison's receiving yard totals have been on the decline since his impressive rookie season.
The assessment is mostly on-point, and Addison did have his own struggles holding onto the ball in 2025. But we'll try to give them a pass since the J.J. McCarthy/Max Brosmer combination held the offense back so much in 12 games.
With Kyler Murray, the Vikings are expecting their offense to bounce back in 2026. That should mean big years for Jefferson and Addison as they get back on track.
