No. 4 UT Tyler baseball beats Texas A&M International 15-11 to win series over Dustdevils

TYLER, Texas (KETK) — After game three of fourth-ranked UT Tyler Baseball’s weekend series against Texas A&M International got rained out on Saturday, the Patriots and Dustdevils returned to the diamond Sunday night as the Pats took down the Dustdevils 15-11 to pick up the series win over TAMIU.

The Patriots plated five runs in the bottom of the second and four in the bottom of the sixth, scoring 15 runs on nine hits to beat the Dustdevils in a high-scoring affair at Irwin Field.
UT Tyler (8-1 overall, 8-1 conference) will go for the sweep when the Pats wrap up this weekend’s series against Texas A&M International on Monday, February 16 at 1 p.m. at Irwin Field in Tyler.
